For production of underwear from four-ply knitwork a flat stitch technology is used. This technology guarantees very firm and absolutely flat stitch, so nothing can irritate the skin. Fur-ply knitwork with 8mm fiber was proven as the best. No capillary forces inside are applied so water or sweat is immediately transported to the outer layer of knitwork. Gravity directs water fall to the lower parts of the wear and dries. Water from knitwork drains within 10 minutes and person has again feeling of dryness and warmth.
Products made from four-fly knitwork are appropriate for static activities, such as mapping or photography in ambient temperature 4°C - 8°C or for active movement in winter nature or high mountain caves with ambient temperature 0°C - 4°C (values for average person. Thermal comfort depends on number of factors and individual disposition of a person).
Garments and supplements signed by CE mark are suitable for professional use as Personal Protective Equipment (category I.) against weather conditions which are neither exceptional nor extreme.
