Caving coveralls HELIX series are made of endless CORDURA© air texturized polyamide fiber. At the moment polyamide fiber, with its strength, abrasion resistance, weight, good strength also in wet condition but also with accaptable price seems to be the most appropriate basic material. The most appropriate material for coating is polyurethane, with its low weight and guarantee of the fabric perfect flexibility also at extremely low temperatures.
All the coverall models we offer in version DRY. These DRY models are recomended to use in dry cave conditions and guaranties very fast drying of the underwear used below the coverall.
Mainly solid fabric, good cut and quality stitch made our coveralls favorit. The coveralls are made in universal sizes and all designes are available in children sizes.
Garments and supplements signed by CE mark are suitable for professional use as Personal Protective Equipment (category I.) against mechanical action the effects of which are superficial.
The 1316 CRIOU waterproof coveralls are made from fabrics with polyvinylchloride coating and ultrasonic welded stitches and joints. These coveralls are used mainly between cavers, working in cold, watery high mountain caves. In the case of these overalls selection of material is even more difficult and various compromises are necessary. Parameters as strength, resistance against tearing and abrasion and flexibility are in opposition to weight and price. Compromise is necessary. According to our calculations appropriate solution for offer of quality and price acceptable waterproof coverall is CRIOU coverall. For cavers, spending long time sitting and digging in water or thin mud we offer 1317 POLOHELIX version with only trousers made from waterproof material.
